This is the least funny attempt at a humor blog that I've seen in quite a while. The pictures of most of the mailboxes are kind of ugly, but the pathetic attempts at humorous descriptions are a worse crime against taste than those mailboxes will ever be. The only reason I am posting this is because of the author's smug and snarky attitude and the time I wasted reading this (it was kind of like trying not to look at a road accident - I couldn't look away!) Well, I'm also a little ticked off - I got sent here from a link posted by a Mark Frauenfelder at Boing-Boing. He's not interesting or funny either,so I am posting this to relieve my annoyance of being directed here by another smug jerk. Thanks! I feel a lot better.
I, on the other hand, am commenting on how much I enjoy this blog every day and how much I particularly enjoyed today's photos.
Lori, what's smug is your attempt to be an arbiter of what's humorous. If you don't like it, don't read it and don't insult the blogger. Do you have a blog that you contribute to daily and spend time working on? Does being a jerk make you feel better?
OHMYGOD! Mark Frauenfelder led you astray??? Why not make Boing-Boing your homepage and just sit there hitting "refresh" and see if any stories about copyrights or paintings of monkey-lesbians pop up there to help get your life back on track.
